Marine Girls was an English post-punk group formed in 1980 by schoolfriends; Tracey Thorn and Gina Hartman. They were later joined by sisters Alice and Jane Fox.
The band released their debut album ‘Beach Party’ in 1981. Their next album ‘Lazy Ways’ – produced by Stuart Moxham from Young Marble Giants – was released in 1983. Not long after the release of this album, Marine Girls disbanded.
