Marcus Yates, who formerly went by the stage name Oobergeek, is a lyrical rapper/producer and the younger cousin of Tech N9ne. Having only released one EP as of yet (2020’s YEAH, THIS ONE HURTS), his most prominent musical ventures have involved featuring on some of Tech’s tracks as well as Krizz Kaliko’s music.

A notable career high for Oober was featuring on the same track as Kendrick Lamar, on Tech N9ne’s 2011 song “I Love Music”.
