About MARAUDA

Hamish Prasad is a DJ and producer from Sydney, Australia, specialized in heavy Dubstep and Riddim music. He started producing in 2013 under the name “Elephant Man”, which he changed to “Mastadon” in 2015. He changed his name again to “Marauda” to prevent confusion with a metal band from Atlanta named “Mastodon” on August 6, 2019.

He gained attention in 2017 with a remix of the song “Black Hole” by SKisM and Trampa. When SKisM found the remix, he liked it so much that he decided to publish it through his label, Never Say Die: Black Label and sign Mastadon to it. In the same year, Mastadon released his first EP, “Malignant” through the Never Say Die imprint, at the age of only 16 years. A year later he published his second EP, “Decimate”, again through Black Label.
