Måns Zelmerlöw is a Swedish pop singer and television personality. He is most famous for his involvement with the Eurovision Song Contest – a contestant and winner in 2015 and co-host in 2016.
He finished 5th on Idol 2005, a reality singing competition, and went on to win Let’s Dance, the Swedish version of Strictly Come Dancing in the UK. In 2007, he entered Melodifestivalen with his song, “Cara Mia”. Although it did not win (placing 3rd), he enjoyed commercial success.
Subsequent entries to Melodifestivalen in 2007 and 2009, resulted in a win in 2015 with his song, “Heroes”. He would go on to perform at and win the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest.
In 2016, he co-hosted the competition with Petra Mede in Stockholm.
