Malcolm David Kelley, better credited as Malcolm Kelley, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter and actor who is best known for being one half of the pop-rap duo MKTO. In 2010, Malcolm met Tony Oller while filming the Nickelodeon television series Gigantic, in which their characters portrayed best friends. They later formed a duo and came up with the name MKTO which stands for Malcolm Kelly and Tony Oller. In 2012, MKTO signed a recording deal with Columbia Records and released their debut single “Thank You”. A year after MKTO got signed to Columbia Records, Malcolm landed an opportunity to record a duet with Céline Dion, titled “Save Your Soul” which was written by Danny Mercer and Malcolm Kelley. The next year later, they released their self-titled debut studio album under Columbia Records, MKTO (Misfit Kids and Total Outcasts). The album features guest appearances from R&B singer Ne-Yo and Los Angeles based recording artist Jessica Ashley, also known as Harloe.
