Maki Nomiya is the most famous vocalist of the Japanese pop group, Pizzicato Five. Before her career as Pizzicato Five’s vocalist, however, she was also the vocalist of new wave band Portable Rock & released a solo album under the name of Pink no kokoro. Shortly before Pizzicato Five’s breakup, she released her first solo album since her debut entitled Miss Maki Nomiya Sings. Since the release of that album, she has started a career in modeling & released more music including the albums, Lady Miss Warp, Party People & What The World Needs Now Is Love.
