MAJILLA (pronounced Mawj-ill-uh) and commonly referred to as Jilla, is an American rapper, singer, and record producer from Akron, Ohio. Known for being a mystery artist, they began anonymously releasing music to SoundCloud in 2015 and steadily began building their cult following in the underground music scene. Fans and critics often credit them for their distinct voice and versatility, with their music exploring Dark R&B, Trap, and Hip-Hop. With this mutation of genres in their small yet growing discography, they have formed their own unique style of music while continuing to expand on their palette and build on the sound they have created.

In 2018, MAJILLA’s single “Harley Quinn” caught the attention of English DJ Joyryde who later went on to feature a remixed version called “Thrill”, combined with an official music video, on his debut studio album Brave (2020). The album reached number one on the Apple Music Dance Charts, making it MAJILLA’s first collaboration to accomplish the milestone. Following the debut, MAJILLA landed another placement with Canadian based rapper Kresnt on his album “Everybody Knows: Refill”.
