Magazine is an English post-punk band, formed by Howard Devoto after his departure from punk band, Buzzcocks in 1977. One of the pioneers of post-punk, the band’s debut album, Real Life was one of the first albums in the genre. The band broke up in 1981 after realising three more albums but reformed in the late 2000s and released the album No Thyself.
