Maeve is a British experimental singer, songwriter and record producer, currently based in London, United Kingdom. She is famously known for working with close friend and studio affiliate Tokio Myers and has previously appeared as an un-credited vocalist, alongside Latir, on his breakthrough single “Angel”. She also appeared on his re-worked version of the smash house/trance hit song “Children”, originally performed by Robert Miles, and provided background vocals for his revival of the song “Mercy”, originally performed by Vera Hall – all of these songs were released through Tokio’s debut album Our Generation.

After taking some time away, she released her debut single “Empty” in May 2018. She also released an accompanying music video, which featured footage of the seaside location Joss Bay in the United Kingdom, which has also been used before as a filming location in Emeli Sande’s comeback single “Hurts”.
