Madrique Dashaun Sanders a.k.a, MADRIQUE, is a hip hop artist hailing from Raleigh, NC. MaDrique was born on August 2, 1991 in Selma, NC, but grew up from the streets of Queens, NY and Raleigh, NC. With that mixed upbringing, MaDrique was influenced by the best of both worlds.
At the age of 4, MaDrique was introduced to Snoop Doggs “Gin and Juice” and from there, he knew he wanted to rap. Studying the technique of artists such as Snoop, DMX, early Lil Wayne, Wale and Currency, pushed MaDrique to perfect his craft and honeing on his artistic style and wordplay.
In 2009, he started a label, D.O.C (Dreams Of Children) Music Group and took over the sounds of his local area.
Drique found that his consistent drive and motivation has gained him more exposure, MaDrique’s hard work ethic and show stopping performances deserves its buzz.
