Rome-born and bred producer/songwriter MadD3E is truely one of a kind. Describing himself as a very moody person, the sympathetic Italian has found a way to mirror his mood in his productions. Clearly, his passion can be figured out quite easily – he’s a sucker for a good bassline. And he loves chords. And drums. Well, he basically lo- ves and breathes music.
In 2017, after the success of his remix for fellow Italian BVRGER’s „The Cool Kids“ in 2016, MadD3E established himself as one of the go-to-guys for soulful, unortho- dox and funky songs, releasing with labels such as Darker Than Wax, Zen Supre- macy, BLVNT Records and Voyage Funktastique, opening markets in South Asia, Europe, the USA and Canada.
One of his compositions has been picked by German rapper Kalim, who placed Germany’s most-hyped music export Ace Tee as a feature on „Bis um 4“. The song is filled with 90s G-Funk references and a sensual hook that was co-written by Mad- D3E. „Bis Um 4“ was included on Kalim’s album „Thronfolger“ which entered at #7 in the german album charts. Besides that his music is played regularly at B-Boy + Popping events around the world (ranging from Europe to Asia to the USA).
In the summer of 2018, MadD3E rediscovered his passion for DJing and moving a crowd with his very own taste in music. He played at Germany’s biggest HipHop fe- stival, the Splash! Festival, in front of thousands of people which became witness of the tough-to-match energy and skill MadD3E showcases througout his sets and se-
lection.
