Maclib is a musical duo consisting of famous producer Madlib and rapper/singer-songwriter Mac Miller. The duo met up in 2014 during a recording session for Freddie Gibs and Madlib’s album Piñata. Their collaboration continued in 2016 when Madlib played a Mac Miller song during a music festival. This is when Mac Miller decided on starting a collaborative E.P. with Madlib.
