Rosario “Macho” Ortega is a rapper and singer originally from Boston best known for his work with seminal Christian hip-hop group Tunnel Rats as well as New Breed. Macho moved to Los Angeles with his sister Elsie around the age of 15 and was invited to join the Tunnel Rats after meeting Dax at a hip-hop conference called Cru-vention. He and his sister both joined the following year.

Macho appeared on the Rats' polarizing 2001 album Tunnel Vision and New Breed’s first album Stop the Music was released in 2002. Since then, Macho has continued to collaborate with other Tunnel Rats affiliates, released a solo album in 2011, and featured on Propaganda’s highest-charting 2017 record Crooked.
