Machai Maldonado is a rapper and vocalist from Redding, CA, who resides in Los Angeles. Prior to being a solo artist, he collaborated with fellow Redding native Paris Shadows.

Machai’s first all-platform single came after inking a deal with UMG to form FreQz World. Previous to this, he built up buzz through such releases as February 2018’s “Po'ed Up” with Paris Shadows, as well as a December 2018 ELEVATOR Magazine release, titled “Old Me.” Following the release of November 2018’s “Games,” Machai almost exclusively collaborated with Grammy-nominated producer Shonuff.
