About Mac Ayres

Mac Ayres is a self-taught producer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist hailing from Sea Cliff, NY. Although he doesn’t like to be within one specific genre, he has drawn inspiration from D'Angelo, Stevie Wonder, and J.Dilla as he tastefully blends Soul, R&B, Jazz, and Hip-Hop.

In 2017, Ayres dropped out of the rigorous music-centered school, Berklee College of Music to pursue his own individual artistry. Since then he has released three EPs (I Know Enough, Drive Slow, and Drive Slow: The B Sides) and two full-length albums consisting of Something To Feel released in 2018 and the following year Juicebox. On his debut EP Drive Slow, his first single “Easy” was picked up by a multitude of playlists on Spotify and hit one million plays in less than five months leaving him with new-found recognition.

After the release of his sophomore studio album, Mac Ayres traveled all over North America on his first-ever tour Juicebox. Ayres has continued to attract a following of music-lovers and put out a sonically unique sound sprinkled with silky falsetto and profound songwriting for listeners and the industry.
