Lynk Lee was born in Bắc Giang Province on October 24, 1988 as a boy named Tô Mạnh Linh, but came out as a transgender in 2020. Lee is a Vietnamese singer-songwriter who always had a passion in music, which began as a child.
In 2009, still as a male, he began to use the stage name Lynk Lee and was a freelance singer, winning over the hearts of Vietnamese youth through his music.
In 2020, Lee made the transition to female, coming out as a transgender – the second artist in the country known to publicly do so after Hương Giang Idol. However she is still going by the stage name she used when she was male.
