Lyncs is the musical project of American songwriter and producer, Jacqueline Hynes. Born and raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Lyncs began playing the piano and violin at age 5.
In 2019, Lyncs released her debut EP, “Every Time I Find The Meaning Of Life It Changes,” which garnered critical acclaim for its down-to-earth, atmospheric soundscapes, and earnest lyrics. She followed it up with a string of singles, including “just being honest,” “Prom Queen,” and “Obvious,” with producers Keith Varon (The Aces, JXDN) and Rob Ernst (Sasha Sloan, Lauv).
Drawing inspiration from a wide range of influences, including Lorde, The 1975, and The Japanese House, Lyncs’ songwriting and production is characterized by daydream choruses, electronic textures, and infectious melodies. Her songs explore relationships, nostalgia, and self-discovery.
