Jake Luppen is the lead vocalist and guitarist for the Minnesotan band Hippo Campus. In 2019 he released a side-project with band member Nathan Stocker and high-school friend Caleb Hinz, dubbed Baby Boys. The trio went on to produce and write several of the tracks featured on labelmate Samia’s debut album.

In 2020 Jake made his solo debut under the name Lupin. The album had been in the works for several years prior to its release and featured a more personal approach to songwriting.

Jake has also has credits on songs by several other artists include Bon Iver, BANKS, COIN and The Greeting Committee.
