Lunar Vacation describes their sound as “dreamy pool rock.” Formed in mid-2016 to introduce a new sound onto the local music scene of Atlanta, the band uploaded some early demos on SoundCloud before releasing their debut EP Swell in August of 2017. The band consists of Grace Repasky (vocals, guitar), Maggie Geeslin (guitar), John Michael Young (bass, synth), and Connor Dowd (drums).

The band was voted “Best New Music Group” of 2018 by Atlanta newspaper Creative Loafing, following the summer release of their second EP, Artificial Flavors.
