Hailing from Essex, Luke found his love for music through listening to his father’s old soul records. In 2019, Luke’s version of Bobby Caldwell’s ‘What You Won’t Do For Love’ was synced to ‘Love Island’, shooting the track to no. 1 on the Shazam chart in the UK. This was followed by a TV appearance on Good Morning Britain with every major national newspaper running the story. The song reached the top 20 of the UK Charts.
Luke has worked and toured with some huge industry names which has helped him establish his unique and spell binding signature sound. He was hand picked to be the main male vocalist on tour with Rudimental, which saw him play to sold out venues both in Europe and Australia.
Though 2020 was somewhat bleak given the pandemic, Luke continued to do his best to thrive. His social media presence has been steadily growing. Lukes innovative approach to live streams and creating has gained him fans from all corners of the world.
Following the release of his debut EP ‘Butterflies’ (which received multiple New Music Fridays & UK radio support), Luke sold out London’s OMEARA. Due to extremely high demand, the show was upgraded (twice) to a show at Scala in May. With a UK tour to be announced and a beautiful project on the way, starting with the first single 4am (feat. Olivia Nelson), 2021 is set to be a big one for Luke Burr.
