Karen Lucille “Lucy” Hale is an American actress and singer, best known for portraying Aria Montgomery on the Freeform television series Pretty Little Liars. In an interview with OK!, Lucy spoke on pursuing a music career:
I mean, it’s always a possibility. It’s all about timing. It was my first love and I love music, so we’ll see.
On June 12, 2012, Lucy signed a record deal with Hollywood Records. Recording for the album began in 2012 and was set for a 2013 release, but was ultimately pushed back to 2014. Lucy’s musical influences include Shania Twain, Martina McBride, the Dixie Chicks, Dolly Parton, and Britney Spears.
Lucy’s debut album, Road Between, was released on June 3, 2014. Two singles were released from the album: “You Sound Good to Me” and “Lie a Little Better”. Road Between peaked at #14 on the Billboard 200, #11 on the Digital Albums, and #4 on the Top Country Albums.
