Lucy Dacus (b. May 2, 1995) is an American singer-songwriter and producer, who is best known for her powerful lyrics and her low, mournful voice. Originally from Richmond, Virginia, she is now based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

As of 2021, Dacus has released three critically acclaimed albums: No Burden (2016), Historian (2018), and Home Video (2021). Influences on her lyrics notably include the experiences she had growing up queer and Christian.

Dacus is also one third of the indie rock super-group boygenius, formed in 2018 with fellow singer-songwriters Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker.
