Louis Leimbach (02/10/1991) is the younger of the two Leimbach brothers who formed the band Lime Cordiale.
The brothers were brought up by “hippy parents” on a small island off Sydney’s northern beaches. Their mum was also a musician (who features on their album, Permanent Vacation). As children, they were taught to play classical instruments (like the clarinet, saxophones, trumpet and trombone), and have used these influences in their music to try and find “fresh sounds”.
Lime Cordiale started in 2009 with the brothers writing music together, performing at house parties that would often get shut down by the police and have since played shows all through Australia and overseas.
