Peter Rycroft, also known by his stage name LOSTBOY, is a British songwriter and record producer, currently based in London, United Kingdom. Breaking out with Becky Hill’s 2016 single “Sunrise In The East”, Rycroft began affiliating himself with song writing collective The Six. This was when he was introduced to R.I.Pablo and Tom Mann.
Rycroft began working with the two writers separately on multiple projects in 2019 for acts such as Why Don’t We and Rita Ora respectively. Rycroft and Mann eventually broke out when contributing to Tom Grennan’s second album Evering Road and later with Becky Hill on her 2021 single “Last Time” and became a go-to pair in the world of pop music.
Rycroft’s partnership with R.I.Pablo however became a force to be reckoned with, showing huge promise after contributing to Bebe Rexha’s 2021 single “Sacrifice”, The pair skyrocketed into fame when writing Tiesto’s 2021 hit “The Motto” and introduced Rycroft to the world of house music. He also ended up producing multiple songs from Tiesto’s 2023 album Drive. Later that year, they contributed to Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding third collaborative single “Miracle” which became a UK number 1, overtaking other artists, such as Lewis Capaldi and Ella Henderson for numerous weeks.
