About Lorrie Morgan

The daughter of classic country singer George Morgan, Loretta Lynn Morgan was born June 27, 1959 in Nashville, TN. She made her first appearance on the Grand Ole Opry at age 13, performing “Paper Roses,” which was written by Fred Spielman and Janice Torre. So far in her career, she has had three #1 hits: “Five Minutes,” “What Part of No,” and “I Didn’t Know My Own Strength.” She has also had eleven songs reach the top 10. Those songs are “Dear Me,” “Out of Your Shoes,” “He Talks to Me,” “We Both Walk,” “A Picture of Me Without You,” “Except for Monday,” “Watch Me,” “Half Enough,” “Back in Your Arms Again,” “Good As I Was to You,” and “Go Away.”
