Luna C. A. Starley (aka lonemoon) is an American rapper, singer, and producer that intertwines the electronic sound of synthesizers and sample manipulation with organic sounds such as orchestral instruments, and electric / grand piano for a refreshing and revitalizing take on Hip-Hop & R&B.

On her album andromeda, which she calls her “first real debut”, she talks about her positive and negative experiences with love & heartache, violence, identity, and voice, without forgetting the youthful abandon that she’s always wanted to embody. Tracks like why me and new 2me express her longing and forlorn attitude about past lovers as well as fear of the future, contrasted with confident bursts of strength such as ur luv and www.

lonemoon’s discography stretches across genres – Electronic (albums such as Amaranth and whereisluna), Chillwave (her mixtape “photographs”), Indie( she sings in the band 12 Decembers), and even Dubstep (she has released many notable tracks on Chime’s label “Rushdown” such as Miss Understood and Lullaby, the latter of which recieved a remix (Lullaby – Chime Remix).
