Lloyd Price, born: 9th March 1933 in Kenner, Louisiana, – died: 3rd May 2021 in New Rochelle, New York. He was known as “Mr. Personality”, after his 1959 million-selling hit, “Personality”. He had his first #1 hit in the US in 1952 with “Lawdy Miss Clawdy”, and his second with “Stagger Lee” in 1958. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
