Born and raised in the West London town of Shepperton, Dawson showed interest in music and singing from a young age and was encouraged to do so by her family.

She released her first single “Tapestry” in 2016, which was the same year she signed to Method Records to subsequently issue her next song, “Still.” The composition of her discography continued with the release of her EP, Open Your Eyes. Throughout the year, she worked with known producers, Jimmy Naples and SG Lewis, to continue synthesizing music. In 2017, Dawson released “Searching”, “Somewhere Good”, and “Hush”. Her most recent work, “Talk” followed up in early 2018.

She cites Beyoncé, Lauryn Hill, and Amy Winehouse as her major musical influences.
