Lily James (born April 5th, 1989) is an English actress and singer. She has long been interested in the arts, studying at Arts Educational School and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama before making her acting debut in 2010, appearing in several movies since.

In films such as Yesterday (2019), Cinderella (2015), and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again (2018), James was not only an actress, but also contributed to the soundtracks.

In Yesterday, James sang a rendition of The Beatles' 1963 song “I Want To Hold Your Hand” with Himesh Patel. In addition to being the main character in the live-action version of Cinderella, she also sang the incredibly popular “A Dream is A Wish Your Heart Makes,” originally sung by Ilene Woods in the 1950 animated film. Her biggest project was certainly Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, where she collaborated with other actors on songs such as “Mamma Mia,” but also had some solo tracks like “I Have A Dream.”
