Lilla Namo, artist name for Namo Marouf is a Swedish rapper, singer and songwriter.
In the summer of 2012 Lilla Namo released her first rap single called Haffa Guzz. The same year she was nominated in the category of hiphop/soul at the Swedish national radio station P3’s P3 Guld-awards in Sweden.
In 2013 she appeared in the rapper Petter’s song King from the album Början på allt, and in 2015 she appeared in the song Vandrar from Petters album Mitt folk. Namo has worked with artists such as Timbuktu, Loop Troop, Linnea Henriksson to name a few.
In 2013 her EP was released called Tuggare utan gränser. The same year she won New Artist of the year at the P3 Guld-awards and the album also got nominated in the Swedish grammy categories “songwriter of the year” and “New Artist of the year”. Lilla Namo has been named “the best songsriter of the year” by the Swedish Music journalist Jan Gradvall.
5 years later, in 2018, Lilla Namo made a comeback and released her second EP called BEEP BEEP, produced by Australien Swick. Lilla Namo chose to have one guest on the album, Kamohelo from the group Off the Meds.
She is currently working on new material.
