Lil Roger real name Ronald Allen Jr. is a Chicago native Hip-Hop musical artist. His inspirations into music came way back when he was a little boy, going to school at John T. McCutcheon in the Uptown neighborhood in Chicago. His inspirations in music was Drake, Lil Wayne, Soulja Boy, Speaker Knockerz, Chief Keef, Young Pappy, La Capone & More. Growing up in the Uptown neighborhood he looked up to a particular artist that was making noise quickly in his neighborhood, Young Pappy in the late 2012s early 2015s Chicago drill music scene. Lil Roger started to make voicemails of himself just freestyling, sending it to his friends in the 3rd grade he was only 9 years old. At that moment he knew he wanted to become a artist & looked up to Drake a lot around this time 2009. Roger started recording on the phone over beats with his cousin Bookie around 2012, this is the time where Roger came up with songs like “I Be Rollin” & “Real Shit” but they were never studio based recorded just recorded of a phone. In 2015 Lil Roger came up with his name artist name oddly from being a fan of the long time Green Bay Packers Quarter Back Aaron Rodgers he just took the “d” out. In 2015 Lil Roger also made his first studio based song “I Was Right” that went locally viral, he started gaining fans little by little & at that time he would come up with his slogan “LilRogerOnaTrack”.
