Princeton Jamal Balark (born February 28, 2004), known by his stage name Lil PJ or “Slatt PJ”, is a smaller upcoming rapper from Atlanta, Georgia.

PJ started making music in 2019 with his first album ‘Lost For Words’, which released exclusively on SoundCloud on May 11, 2019.

PJ released a second album, titled Gift From The Streets Vol. 1 on November 20, 2019.

In May 2020, PJ released his song “Came From Nothing”, which was produced by North Dakota producer Iceberg Beatz, this was PJ’s first big placement as he is known for producing platinum song “Pop Out”.

He wasn’t that well known at the time, but getting features with rappers like Lil Gotit and TyFontaine helped PJ make a name for himself.
In October 2020, PJ was featured on “Tellin Ya” by Lil Gotit and “Exotic” by TyFontaine.

On December 4, 2020, PJ was featured on fellow late Atlanta rapper Rae Rae’s album ‘Right On Time’, he was tragically shot and killed on July 24, 2020.

In August 2021, PJ released “Forever Missed”, a tribute to fellow Atlanta rapper R5 Homixide who killed himself on August 24, 2021.

On November 12, 2021, PJ announced on Instagram that he had signed record deals with labels Geffen Records and Rebel Music, this was the first record deal PJ had ever signed.

Two singles came soon after signing with these labels, this included “Life Amazine” and “In My Bag” which were both released in December 2021.

On January 7, 2022, PJ released his first single Buzz to his upcoming album ‘Gift From God’.
PJ stated on Instagram that this song wasn’t meant for the album, but was put on there anyway.

On February 11, 2022, PJ released “Leveled Up” with late fellow Atlanta rapper Lil Keed who died three months later on May 13, 2022 due to “Health issues”, stated by his mom in January 2023.

PJ released two more singles for his album,
“Long Days” on March 4, and the last single “Speeding Fast” on March 18 with New York rapper CEO Trayle.

On March 23, in a now deleted Instagram post, PJ announced the album cover, release date, and tracklist.
On March 25, 2022, PJ released his album ‘Gift From God’ with features from Atlanta artists like Lil Gotit, Lil Keed, OTF artist Slimelife Shawty, and YSL artist BSlime.

PJ has released multiple singles since he dropped his last album and says there’s a new album coming soon titled ‘The Private Pilot’, meant to be released on July 14, 2023.
