The 16-year-old lyrical Genius from the San Antonio, Texas burst onto the SoundCloud scene in 2019 with his breakout hits “snoozer” and “I Really Want A Girl.” He drew media attention when he reported that Sheck Wes had been among those killed in a Miami helicopter explosion in February 2019, a report that was soon denied.

On June 28, 2020, Lil Pipe was non-tragically killed after his car impacted at over 130 mph with an oncoming vehicle. Instead of accepting his speeding ticket in a residential neighborhood, he zoomed off from the police while screaming “FUCK 12!” before driving through a WRONG WAY sign and onto the highway heading the opposite direction as traffic. He and 8 other people were killed instantly.
