Alejandro Velez, professionally known as Lil Lex, is a rapper and singer-songwriter from West Palm Beach, Florida.

Lex started music back in 2020, and released several singles which led up to his debut mixtape, Love Hurts. His most frequent collaborator during his early career all the way to his late career is fellow Florida artist, Ajskells, from Jupiter, FL, who was also the founder of Realistic Positivity, the label Lil Lex was signed to.

Lex followed up his debut mixtape with two EPs, SUPER SAIYAN and a joint EP with Ajskells, The Adventures of Alex & Aidan.

Lex dropped his second mixtape, To The Stars in late 2021, and remained semi-inactive for about a year, only dropping a couple singles.

Lex signed to Diizii’s Actiive label in 2022, and dropped the teaser EP, Love Hurts 1.5 in late 2022, for his third mixtape, LOVE HURTS 2, which dropped in early 2023.

Lil Lex announced that he would not be making any more music, and he “has felt like his music era has ended.” With his retirement from music, he dropped the “Complete Edition” of LOVE HURTS 2, and has since then remained inactive. There is no confirmation if he plans on returning, so only time will tell. He has since been unsigned from Realistic Positivity and Actiive following his retirement.
