As a rapper, he’s “lil azure”. As a producer, he’s “ripazure” Better known as just “azure”, he began his career as “JohnnyJames”, and released his debut mixtape, “HEARTBREAKHAVEN” in early 2018. After deleting most of it, he found a new melodic sound that he coins as “anime trap”, and started working as “lil azure”, releasing “AZURE: The E.P.” in early 2019. As a member of the Dasani Boyz collective, Azure also embraces harder styles of rap. Lil Azure creates a variety of genres in his music, and draws influence from his peers in the SoundCloud scene.
