About liam ello

liam ello is a singer songwriter from Palmerston North, New Zealand. Despite having many phases growing up, Liam had his first taste of musical passion at age 12, when he discovered the pop acapella group Pentatonix through their cover of “Royals” by Lorde. He became fanatical and blasted the group’s music daily, harming the sanity of his relatives.

Mid way through his first high school year, Liam found a passion for music production and delved into a more alternative music style, taking tremendous amounts of inspiration from artists such as Crywolf, EDEN, Flatsound and Bon Iver. This was also around the time he had his first encounter with the emotional and physical horrors of bad mental health and tried to use songwriting as a form of catharsis.

During this time Liam delved into music head first, trying to express levels of emotion he had never deemed possible, with songs that he would write on the daily. This contributed to his first musical sucess after collaborating with Asaa on their track “don’t let me fall”, which has recently passed 200k streams on spotify. Liam continues to network and create music in a pop/RnB style and has many great ideas for the future.
