Barcelona-based musician, producer and part-time singer Bastido moves between jazz-based hip-hop and Latin influences since the release of his debut beat tape “travels:barcelona” in 2018. Recently less a solo artist than a collaboration project involving musicians and artists of different genres, Bastido’s 2021 release “Sera” and the upcoming 2022 release “Alba” exemplify an unconventional mix of alternative R&B, lofi hip-hop, jazz and Cuban music.
