Richard Lee Peng Boon (born August 24, 1956), also known as Dick Lee, is a Singaporean singer-songwriter and record producer. His first album, Life Story, featuring his own compositions, was released in 1974. In fact, he usually does all the songwriting for his own albums. His 1989 album, The Mad Chinaman, became a huge success in Japan and Singapore, which helped further his career in East Asia, particularly Japan and Hong Kong while he continued to develop his unique New Asian Pops.
In addition to his solo work, he has been collaborating with top Asian artistes including Tracy Huang, Sandy Lam, Zoo, Anita Mui, Andy Lau, Leslie Cheung, Jacky Cheung and many more.
