LEVEL NINE is the music label for the soundtrack of the game, GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE. The label is licensed under Genie Music who acts as their distributor. According to the Nikke music director, Cosmograph, the name LEVEL NINE is inspired by the number 10 as it denotes completion and no further progress, yet, Nikke’s music is all about evolution and the pursuit of new styles, which is why the number 9 was more fitting and used.

It was called LEVEL 9 during its inception, but due to a conflict with an artist of an existing name and causing complications in search results, the number 9 was changed to “NINE”.
