She was born on October 25, 1985 in Zaire (now Democratic Republic of the Congo) in Africa.
She was born in that country because her parents were missionaries in that place. She is raised for a time, until he is 4 years old when she returns to Minnesota, United States.

In her teens she recorded videos for YouTube teaching Spanish.

As a child, Lenay always had an attachment for music, and from a very young age she was linked to it.

Then in high school she did a teaching staff of Spanish and graduated as a teacher, the last stage is in 3 countries in Latin America, these being: Argentina, Peru and Ecuador.

Lenay has presented several singles, some without being officially published, such as “Pacific Coast Highway”, “You Make My Life” ", “Butterflies”.
But also others that have been officially published as: “Daylight”, “You Feel Like Home”, “Drive For Miles”.

Lenay had her first live performance in Kmasu (Chile), presentation that managed to obtain good success in spite of having been recently made known in the Latin countries.
Soon she would continue to perform in Argentina and Uruguay.

Lenay begins her career in TV thanks to an audition MTV did for a host who could not attend, but made a video that managed to go viral, so they decided to hire her to conduct the program “10 On Top”

During the first two years of the program, Lenay resides in Nashville, and MTV takes her to New York City to film 3 days a week.
The show happens to have more than 100 episodes, with co-hosts ranging from Ariana Grande, Selena Gómez, Macklemore or Ken Jeong.

Nace el 25 de octubre de 1985 en Zaire (ahora República Democrática del Congo) en África.
Nace en dicho país debido a que sus padres eran misioneros en ese lugar. Se cría durante un tiempo, hasta los 4 años cuando con su familia vuelve a Minnesota, Estados Unidos.

En su adolescencia grababa vídeos para YouTube enseñando a hablar español.

Desde niña, Lenay siempre tuvo apego por la música, y desde muy pequeña estuvo ligada a ella.

Luego en la secundaria hizo un profesorado de español y se graduó como profesora, la última etapa la cursa en 3 países de Latinoamérica, siendo estos: Argentina, Perú y Ecuador.
