About Lazy Habits

Lazy Habits is a 5-piece group from East London, influenced by New Orleans Jazz, Soul, and Hip Hop. They’re best known for blending lyrical vocals with heavy drum beats and brass sounds.

Their first album, Lazy Habits, was released in 2012 and reached the top 10 in the iTunes UK Hip Hop Chart. The single Even Out remains their most-played song on Spotify, where it has racked up over 1.8 million plays.

They launched their second album, The Atrocity Exhibition in April 2016, which also charted in the top 10 iTunes UK Hip Hop Chart and found particular success in Austria. The first single from the album, The Breach, starred Taron Egerton in the music video, and has gone on to be viewed over 540,000 times on YouTube.

Returning to the studio in 2022 after a six-year period of touring, their third album, Vermillion Sands, features an evolution of their brass-heavy sound, with frequent use of string instruments and a more experimental style.
