Laura Tesoro is a Belgian singer, presenter and actress born in Antwerp. As a child Tesoro appeared in several musicals like a flemish adaption of “Annie” in 2008, where she performed the lead role. Laura Tesoro first came to broader attention in 2012 when she appeared on the popular Flemsish soap-opera “Familie”. She remained on the series till 2014.
The same year she appeared on the third series of “The Voice van Vlaanderen” and finished second. Shortly after she released her debut single “Outta Here”. A second single “Funky Love” followed in 2015.
In early 2016 Tesoro took part in the Belgian pre-selection for the Eurovision Song Contest with her song “What’s the Pressure”. She went on to represent Belgium at the 2016 contest where she finished 10th in the Grand Final.
The same year she provided Flemish dub voices for the Dreamworks Animation movie “Trolls"and the Disney movie "Moana”, where she dubbed the voice of the main character. In both movies she covered the songs in Flemish.
She went on the present reality competition shows like “Belgium’s got Talent” and “The Band”. In 2017 she was one of the judges on “The Voice Kids”.
Tesoro released her debut album in “Limits” in october 2019. The album’s release was preceded by the eponymous single “Limits”.
In 2019, she also participated of the Belgian musical reality program Liefde Voor Muziek on its fifth season, along with other Flemish/Dutch musicians such as Millow, Stef Kamil Carlens, Bart Kaëll, Kommil Foo, Jan Layers and Ilse de Lange.
Laura is now, one of the most prestigious singers in Flanders. She is now, judge of The Voice Kids van Vlaanderen for three consecutive seasons, next to Sean Dhondt, Gers Pardoel, Marthe de Pillecyn, Klaasje Meijer and Hanne Verbruggen (K3).
