Coming up from the Queensland Suburbia of Brisbane, Laura Krause is a enchanting songwriter who captures the heart of her audiences.

Laura has always been drawn to the spectacle of pop music. Inspired by artists like Taylor Swift, the1975 and Miley Cyrus and growing up listening to classics, Fleetwood Mac and Queen.

Always being a lover of music and singing relentlessly every minute of everyday (much to the enjoyment of her parents) Laura started writing songs when she was 14. By the time Laura was 16 she was writing poppy ballads with a sense of wisdom and maturity, a true old soul immediately standing out from her peers.

With a more contemporary sound, Laura has transformed into a pop songwriter and producer that will make you want to spin around your room and dramatically stare out a window watching the rain…real main character energy.

A true storyteller at heart, Laura knows how to craft songs inspired by a feeling or a fleeting moment in time. Tales of days gone by, getting lost in a moment and hopes for days to come captured in 3-5 minute song.

Laura is also ¼ of Brisbane based electro-pop band MVP as a songwriter and vocalist. Laura co-wrote songs like ‘Give It Straight Back’, “Payphone' and ‘Shameless’ with fellow band members and new songs from their highly anticipated Debut Album. MVP is where Laura gets to explore a different side of songwriting and dive fully into the pop world.
