Laura Anne Karpman (born March 1, 1959) is an American composer, whose work has included music for film, television, video games, theater, and the concert hall. She was trained at The Juilliard School, where she played jazz, and honed her skills scatting in bars. And also has won five Emmy Awards for her work.
Her most notable compositions are in the projects The Living Edens, Underground, Why We Hate, Lovecraft Country, What If…? (Season 1 and 2), Ms. Marvel, and the most recent, The Marvels.
