Latyrx is a hip-hop duo consisting of Lyrics Born and Lateef the Truthspeaker. The two began making music together while studying at the University of California, Davis, where they founded the Solesides label and collective. They released their first eponymous single in 1996, and recorded their sophomore album 17 years later in 2013, titled The Second Album.
