Larry Knechtel

Lawrence William “Larry” Knechtel (1940-2009) was a keyboardist, bassist, and member of the Wrecking Crew, the well-known collection of studio musicians active from the 1960s-70s. Knechtel’s work appears in hundreds of recordings from the ‘60s and '70s, including by popular artists like The Beach Boys, The Byrds, The Mamas & The Papas, The Monkees, Simon & Garfunkel, and many more.
