Rapper/singer/songwriter, Jacob Lanz, known by his last name Lanz, emerged into the wave of R&B and Hip-Hop around the start of 2016. Hometown, Orange County, California, Lanz is heavily influenced by artists such as Blackbear, Russ, and PARTYNEXTDOOR. Writing and producing music since his years in High School, Lanz has already collaborated with a robust number of producers, rappers, and vocalists. In 2016, a self-released song titled, “Limbo,” featuring rapper Emilio Rojas, set a foot forward in the hip-hop scene. Following in 2017, Lanz released “Too Much” showing his listeners a style of music he was more than willing to immerse himself in.
Lanz continues to experiment in R&B/Soul via tracks such as “Too Much” featuring rapper Zak Downtown and “Facetime.”
Incorporating pulls of an electronic foundation, his recent release “Out For Me” strides to hit the ears of many, making it an escalating launch for his musical career.
