Lamar “Hula” Mahone

Lamar “Hula” Mahone is a singer/writer/producer, best known as half of the production duo Hula & K. Fingers along with Craig “Kay Fingers” Simpkins. Together they scored hits like Lidell Townsend’s “Nu Nu” as well as DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince’s “Summertime.”

Early in his career, Mahone also performed as part of the Chicago-based hip-house duo The Outhere Brothers.
