Lainako (born December 23rd, 2009) is a 15-year-old, previously transgender, musician creating alternative hip-hop music under multiple genres, including sigilkore, cloud rap, and dark plugg, among others. They have been influenced by multiple underground musicians, including the likes of SpaceGhostPurrp, Hi-C, Devon Hendryx, Metro Zu, and others.

They started making music in late 2023, sampling popular/niche pop culture sounds in their style. In the middle of 2024, they began to dislike the name and style of music they were creating and decided to rebrand their sound and name. They would change her name frequently until finally settling on Lainako in early 2025, which would become the home of her music. During this time, they have collaborated with a hyperpop artist named pupsies, where they remixed their song into their style, showing their variety of production.
