Laetho is the alter ego of Matthieu Van Laethem, a music producer and songwriter based in Ghent, Belgium. To distinguish his own sound he fuses Electronic & Bass music with Hip Hop and Pop to bring you bright melodies, floating harmonies and heavy hitting drums.

At the age of 10 he began playing drums but quickly started craving more than only the rhythm section. His first interaction with music production occured at the age of 15 where he began his journey in the Dubstep scene. Later on he decided he wanted to explore more than just one genre. Which led him to create the Laetho alias.

Aside from his solo project he also works as a music producer and beatmaker for other vocalists such as Monarcq, Dante Moris, Samuel Nzinga and more up-and-coming singers and rappers.

Lastly, he runs a side-project with fellow producer and vocalist Tom Norton, under the alias Further, where they make a fusion of Indie, Bedroom Pop and World music.
